Have you ever looked at what is really in the salad dressings you buy?  There are usually lots of ingredients and many of them are a mystery to me.  Once I started making my own dressings, I saved money and salads became much more healthy and exciting!

Makes enough for 4 tossed side salads
Ingredients:
1) 1 Tbls Vinegar
2) 1 tsp Honey or Agave Nectar
3) 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
4) Pinch of Salt and Pepper
5) 2 Tbls Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions:

1)  Whisk together all ingredients except oil
2) Slowly whisk in oil until combined, toss with salad

This is the quickest and easiest way to mince garlic.  Garlic can be tricky and time consuming unless you know to work with it.  The good news is, once you learn how, it is really simple to mince and there is no need for a garlic press!

Onions are in so many recipes, so knowing how to dice one up quickly really cuts down on chopping time.  This video shows what I have learned to be the quickest way to dice an onion!
