If you aren’t following Mike Foster over on Instagram, he is a must follow! I have been a huge fan of his encouraging words and his podcast, Funtherapy for a while now. Mike is the ever first guy on our podcast, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce you to him if you don’t already know him.
We discussed how change is really difficult (and how to make is easier), how talking about the things that make us feel the most shame in our lives often sets us free, and relationship tips we can all benefit from. I can’t wait for you to hear it!

What a treat to interview The Nester! Perfect timing for me to interview someone all about simple, beautiful home decor and why it matters, since we are in the process of moving. I know you will love Myquillyn’s tips for making your home a place where people can feel comfortable without the clutter. Such a fun interview!
I’m thrilled to bring you Part 2 of my conversation with Melody Lovvorn. In this part of our discussion, Melody shared the story of reconciliation and remarriage with Trey. We also talk about about practical ways to discuss these sensitive topics within marriage, healthy boundaries, and expectations within relationships.
Please reach out to Melody if you or someone you know is walking through a marriage crisis. She and her husband Trey also have a podcast you can check out, https://undoneredone.com.
What can I say? I love Ellie Holcomb, I basically asked her all the things I was curious about, like “What’s it like to be you?” She was real and honest, and we are pretty much best friends now, so there’s that.
Ellie and her husband Drew (yes from Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors) have now 3 children (she was pregnant with her 3rd child during this interview), so we talked about being a momma and having a music career. We talked about how through the hard things, she knows even more that God is good deep in inside of her. She is vibrant and loves Jesus, and it was truly a delight to have her on the show.
After taking several much needed weeks off this summer from podcasting and social media, I am coming into the Fall fresh and ready to dig in with some absolutely amazing women on the podcast, including THE Sandi Patty! This Fall we have some serious, “let’s talk about the hard, real stuff of life” episodes, but we also have some just plain fun episodes coming your way. Be sure to subscribe if you haven’t yet!
Y’all, talking to Sandi Patty was such an honor! Who hasn’t been a fan of her music over the years? There is so much to Sandi’s story that I did not know, until getting my hands on an advance copy of her new book. She shared with me about sexual abuse she experienced as a child, what she would go back and tell the younger version of herself, and she just encouraged me personally so much as a young mom and wife. We both cried, so you know it was a good one!
